Samsung: Will the Galaxy S6 make a flop? – L’Express

What happens to Samsung? The Korean manufacturer, the net profit stood down nearly 40% year on year in the first quarter, and whose market share in China fell 10 points, would record disappointing sales for its flagship Galaxy S6 .

10 million units of the S6 and S6 Edge have been delivered since the launch in April, which would be below the level reached by the S5 Galaxy in 2014, over the same period.

“Disastrous figures”

The CEO of Samsung Mobile, JK Shin, denied that the performance of its high-end smartphone are bad, but according several observers, including Forbes, these numbers are instead “disastrous”.

Samsung hopes to sell 70 million units of its range this year S6.

The price of the device could drop in the coming weeks, as was the case for the Galaxy S5.
