Samsung, the world of the smartphone market, launched a new offensive to regain market share. To achieve this, the South Korean giant has just introduced two new stars smartphones: Galaxy S6 + Edge and leGalaxy Note 5. The Express made the presentations.
The Edge Galaxy S6 grows
The Galaxy range, Samsung’s flagship product for years, welcomes its newest member: the Galaxy Edge + S6. A priori, no huge aesthetic changes, except the diagonal expansion of the terminal, from 5.1 to 5.7 inch. This gain size has allowed the company to capitalize on a new battery. Samsung promises a faster charge in 90 minutes with a cable, and in two hours in wireless charging.
From the perspective of the specific, the device will be equipped with an 8-core Exynos processor 7 and 4 GB of RAM (3GB against previously). For photos, the South Korean has planned a 16-megapixel sensor at the rear, against 5 at the front of the unit. It will be possible to shoot in 4K. The Galaxy S6 + Edge also will have a biometric sensor and a heart rate monitor.
In terms of functionality, Samsung promises to better exploit its curved screen. This will allow you to launch applications directly from the edge of the unit. The firm also announced a partnership with YouTube to broadcast live events from the phone. This is what Samsung calls Live Broadcast. The terminal will be available in late August in the US and Canada, and September 4 in Europe.
The Galaxy Note 5 does not come out in France
For many years, the Galaxy Note range was referring to the largest diagonal of the brand. A different era since the Galaxy Edge S6 + also will be a big screen. the difference between the two devices will not do either of the processor side, since both terminals will again feature the same chip, and identical front and rear sensors.
