Samsung Galaxy S7: Agile Development shortened to 1 or 2 … – Generation NT

A smartphone is conceived in general in a year to a year and a half but with the hectic pace of the mobile market in which new exhaust themselves in the space of three months before being replaced by new models, this development time can become problematic.

Some manufacturers have tried to move to a faster rate by proposing minor changes in their smartphones every six months but it is a difficult strategy to hold, within have economic advantages and powerful marketing.

Asian source, the group Samsung could change its smartphone design methods to gain speed and the first to benefit would be the future Galaxy S7 . The current process “ waterfall ” increase to a process “ Agile ” that would significantly shorten development time , one or two months only.

While the fashion Waterfall (Cascade) imposes a linear development , each step must be completed before moving to the next The Agile process is used to start the different stages of development without waiting for each stage is finalized.

This method allows to quickly adapt particularly the development in context and provision of technology , which is much more complicated with the Waterfall mode, but with the risk of ending up with a rather different product from concept.

However, the Galaxy should S7 not be launched before early 2016 , despite rumors of a second Galaxy Sx for the end of this year.
