With Galaxy Y, Samsung will continue its tour of the alphabet – Frandroid

After the Galaxy S, A, D or E (non exhaustive list), Samsung will continue its commercial use of the alphabet with the Galaxy range O. On the agenda at the moment, two smartphones who want yet very discreet.

According to very reliable sources generally SamMobile, Samsung would prepare two new smartphones, the G550 and G600-SM. Still very mysterious, these two smartphones would bear the respective names of Galaxy and Galaxy O5 O7. A new line therefore, the investment is still unknown. Given the references, it is possible to imagine that this would be entry level devices, between the Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G630) and the Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530). This does of course remains a guess, yet to support.

For several months, Samsung is trying to simplify its catalog, and split into different groups easily identifiable. In the high end we find the Galaxy S and Note (possibly Edge declined in a variant), Galaxy A for the mid-range, and Galaxy J and E in the entry. There remains some devices that do not fit into these categories, which could be classified as Class O Galaxy.

Perhaps more we learn about these Galaxy O5 and O7 in occasion of the IFA to be held in early September in Berlin, unless of course that the South Korean manufacturer will prefer to keep the spotlight trained on its recent Galaxy Note 5 (which will not happen to us for the moment ) and Galaxy S6 + Edge.
