With the upcoming launch of the Galaxy and Galaxy S6 S6 Edge, its two new flagship products, Samsung has opened pre-orders today a first. But all variants will not be available immediately.
Samsung announced the renewal of its flagship on March 1, the day before the opening of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), presenting the Galaxy S6 Galaxy Edge S6. He had immediately revealed pricing and launch date: 10 April. For the record, that date is also that of the opening of the Apple Watch preorders. Coincidence?
Not (yet) 128GB in France
Anyway, Samsung opened this morning pre-orders, particularly in France. You get to see what variations will be sold on the market, at least at launch:
- The Galaxy S6 will be offered with a capacity of 32 GB, not with those of 64 and 128 GB, but the four available colors: dark blue, white or gold at the pre and light blue from the launch. The price is 710 euros as expected.
- The Galaxy Edge S6 meanwhile will be available with 32 or 64 GB, not 128, and dark blue or white from the pre-order and golden or green Emerald at launch. Prices are respectively 860 and 960 euros.
The Induction Charger is offered as part of preorders.
It may be that the superior capabilities will be available in the second time . We should recall that we must not neglect the choice of capacity since the Galaxy S6 no longer have microSD slot, unlike its predecessor.
The first Galaxy S direct sale
This may seem trivial preorder, but this is the first time that Samsung offers a flagship in direct sales through its new Samsung Shop. The pre-order is also ineffective at time of publication, ie if the paint is fresh.
Time Galaxy S5, the Samsung website merely to display a link “Where to Buy” referring to a list of mobile operators and retailers such as Fnac, Darty, Cdiscount, etc.
