There are a few month, Samsung was seen as the next “Nokia” or the next “BlackBerry.” In any case, it was the opinion of Rick Osterloh, Chairman of Motorola, which explained that “Every seven years, the one that is the market leader grave” . Yet today, Samsung has managed to surprise again with a Galaxy S6 designed starting from scratch, complete with a “Edge” variant curved screen on both sides.

For now, it is still difficult to decide on the future of Samsung Mobile, which certainly depend on sales of these two models. Both smartphones will be available from 20 April. But in the meantime, some indicators already suggest that they could be sold relatively well (at least, better than the S5).

The distributors were convinced

If Samsung not reveal data on pre-orders of its new high-end information from the Korea Times newspaper indicates that they have already reached 20 million units 15 million to 5 million Galaxy S6 and S6 for the Edge.

However, it is not official information and above all, we are talking about the amount précommandée by distributors and not by future users.

A production revised the rise?

According to an anonymous source of the South Korean paper (which was relayed by Reuters), Samsung has already revised its production targets upwards for the month of April, suggesting that he may have received excellent feedback.

While the goal for the rest of March 5 million units, it would have gone from 7 million to 8 million April

Note:. during the Mobile World Congress 2015, the head of Samsung’s mobile division, Shin Jong-Kyun, was content to say: “To be honest, pre-orders of the two variants of the Galaxy by our major customers are really huge,” .
