MWC 2016 – Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 edge: the Exynos chip for … – DigitalVersus

somewhat vague on the issue of mobile chip inserted (Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8 Octa 8890?) in its new Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, either in its official communication or even during its launching conference, Samsung wants to be more precise in small groups.

It is a fact, the new Galaxy Galaxy S7 and S7 edge with two different mobile chip based on their country sale: Samsung Exynos 8890 Octa 8 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. We previously announced in our presentation of the new Samsung, in his opening press conference: integrated mobile chip in terminals intended for France is the 8 Octa Exynos 8890, an octal-core SoC house accompanied by a Mali-T880 iGPU MP12 designed for mobile use in defining and UHD WQHD (2560 x 1440 px and 3840 x 2160 px). Confusion reigned some time when Qualcomm officially took last Sunday night speech during the launch of the GS7, indicating that Europe would be served in Galaxy S on Snapdragon, but we could have had a second and a third confirmation various representatives of Samsung France on the presence of the Korean multi-core platform in GS7 GS7 and edge.

This is a good sign for the overall optimization of mobile and independence, when we remember the exploits on the latest Galaxy Galaxy A3 and A5.

Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will be sold on March 11, respectively to 699 and 799 €, and are already available for pre-order everywhere in webmarchands.
