The Galaxy A9 was introduced by Samsung in December. Yet several rumors claim that improved version could land quickly. Its serial number was even recorded by Indian Customs.
There are 10 days, our colleagues SamMobile , a specialist rumors and leaks that affect the Galaxy, claimed that the Korean giant could soon unveil an upgraded version of Galaxy A9. The serial number that the source had kindly given was SM-A9100. What seems credible since the Galaxy A9 serial number is SM-A9000, which demonstrates a certain proximity between the two products.
Arriving in testing in Indian laboratories Samsung
the same serial number was seen again by our colleagues from SamMobile , always on the lookout for small details. It is in the organization’s database that records crossing the Indian border that reference appeared. February 2, mobile Samsung, whose serial number is SM-A9100 and whose origin is South Korea, arrived in India for testing. He joins three other arrivals platforms few days earlier.
As always, Zauba reveals only very few technical details about the products it registers. However, information confirms that it is a model in relation to the Galaxy A9: its screen size. It is therefore a PHABLET the tactile measuring 6 inches slab. It could well be just an improved version (or enhanced) Galaxy A9 original, which seems to confirm the indications offered by the serial number (the difference is the same between the Galaxy A5 (2016) and the Galaxy original A5).
A data sheet already complete
as a reminder, the Galaxy A9, formalized in China just days before Christmas, based on a full HD 6-inch powered by a Snapdragon 652 Qualcomm (Snapdragon 620 new identity, the octo-core Cortex-A72 / A53-Cortex), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (expandable by microSD), two SIM ports, a fingerprint reader, a 4000 mAh battery, a sensor 13 megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel webcam in the front. The set runs on Lollipop and Touchwiz. The chassis is the same as for him (but bigger) than the Galaxy Ax (2016).
This data sheet is rather full and we wonder what it lacks to justify a new version. Other issues are also needed. Samsung considering he already updating the Galaxy A9, even though it has just arrived in the Chinese shops? Is this a second international version? Answer, perhaps in the coming months.
