Samsung has developed its wireless charging station for Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, some welcome news.
This is an inherited characteristic of the Galaxy S6, the wireless charging. The old model was nevertheless a fault, it was inevitably put his phone flat – which was rather annoying when he was placed on a desk and bedside table. An accessory that makes us think the Palm Touchstone, for those who remember what this curious charger. Since then, technology has evolved and the energy loss is much less important
in fact, you’ve probably wondered if simple photographs of this charging station required a dedicated article. As it stands, no, but we did some further research and we asked Samsung. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge support both the Qi and AirFuel Alliance technology.
Faced with Qi, must now rely on the Alliance AirFuel
As you can see, it is also displayed on the accessory “Fast Charge”. Smsung surely makes reference to the latest specifications of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), which were announced in June and that achieve a maximum of 15 Watts in wireless charging. The Samsung Galaxy edge S7 and S7 are compatible, however, the accessory is not, it supports only 7 Watts (as the previous model sold around 25 euros today).
in summary, this is a nice evolution of the wireless accessory, however it will not deserve the 50 to 100 euros requested. Look rather to third accessories manufactured by leading brands, and check that they support fast charge to 15 Watts.
