How to reset sound on Samsung Galaxy ? – Clubic

As it is sometimes necessary to undertake a clean re-installation of its PC Windows, to remedy a growing instability of the system or to declining performance, it is useful to reset his or her Android smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy are among the most popular models of Android, we decided to dedicate this quick tutorial.

Why did the devil want to reset its Galaxy ? Because it can resolve any problems or delays, that arise sometimes in the long run. And it is especially necessary in the case of an assignment of the mobile to a third person, for example. The idea is to restore the factory configuration, after which the Galaxy will be like the first day you have it out of the box, the possible scratches and other marks of time.

Note that you can also just reset the default settings of the phone (handy when you and or anyone else have rigged things without knowing what) or the parameters of the network, based on the problems observed and their severity. In these latter two cases, no risk : your personal data are preserved.

Before you reset, back up !

Only the full reset “of all data” will overwrite the entire contents of the phone, to make it virgin : personal data (photos, contacts, emails, SMS), phone settings, installed applications and account information (Gmail, Outlook, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Dropbox, etc). If it is this procedure that you plan to launch, you first have to ensure that your personal data have been saved. The vast majority of this sensitive content may be synchronized with your Google account. Go in Apps > Settings > Accounts > Google and select all the fields in sync, and then tap More > Sync now (with an active Wi-Fi connection). Emails, contacts, calendars, and app data will be saved.
The other solution is to use the backup tool in the Samsung Cloud (in Apps > Settings), which, however, requires to have a Samsung account.
The most prudent is to make a manual verification of the data to be backed up, including photos / videos and text messages.

1) For photos and videos, simply plug its Galaxy in USB to a computer, set the USB connection mode to Transfer media files (from the notifications pane) and copy/paste the files in the DCIM folder to a folder of his choice on the PC. Attention, we must also remember to retrieve the images produced by the other photo apps, such as SnapSeed or Instagram. The interest of this method, besides its simplicity, is that it guarantees you to recover your photos and videos in their native resolution. As synchronization tools cloud can compress and reduce the file size (and therefore quality) before uploading to the remote servers. This is particularly the case of Google Photos by default.

2) For SMS and MMS you will need to go through a type of application of SMS Backup & Restore, since neither Google nor Samsung does sync. Install or open the application, select Save, select Text Message and Include MMS Messages and choose Local Backup and Upload with sending on your Google Drive, Dropbox, or Email history to have a remote copy of backup. Verify that the file .XML has been created at the desired location (in the directory SMSBackupRestore of the phone by default, or on the service of cloud chosen. Put this file at the shelter (on your PC) if you have not opted for a remote backup, because all the phone data will be overwritten.
After the reset, you will only have to do the handling in reverse. Install SMS Backup & Restore, copy the XML file in the directory track of the Galaxy connected to a computer, start the application, go to restore and choose the famous file.

Now, the process is simple : just go in Apps > Settings > Backup and reset > Reset all data and skip the warnings two times, validating. Your Galaxy will restart as new, after formatting and reinstalling, fully automated.
You have to do is turn off the smartphone in case of resale, or to follow the steps in the reboot to start afresh on a sound basis ! In this second case, to simplify the operation, you can restore the Galaxy from the last known configuration (if Google you the offers), or use the restoration of Samsung (if you have a Samsung account and that you have made a backup via the utility house). This will at least find all the installed applications on your Galaxy.

this is what Google can offer you at the time of the relocation
