last September, the Galaxy Tab S3 we have is a false hope. Waited in the aisles of the IFA, the third generation tablet premium Samsung could arrive only at the beginning of next year, missing the Christmas period.
Samsung has not introduced a tablet in the S range at the IFA trade show, which took place last month in Berlin. Several leaks announced for its arrival in September, to be in the store at the time of the festivals of end of the year. But there will eventually be another way : Samsung will wait a year and a half before renewing its high-end models with the Galaxy Tab S3. In fact, according to our colleagues of SamMobile, the Galaxy Tab S3 should not be formalized until the first quarter of the year 2017. That is, after the period so lucrative holiday season, which seems very curious on the part of Samsung.
Version 9.7-inch confirmed ?
SamMobile also confirmed the serial numbers of the two versions of the Galxy Tab S3. It is SM-T820 for the WiFi version and the SM-T825 for the LTE version. These identifiers are similar to those of the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, whose serial numbers are SM-T810 and SM-T815, respectively, for the WiFi version, and LTE. This is no doubt, therefore. On the other hand, SamMobile does not reveal any feature of a technical nature regarding to these two tablets, not even the screen size. It would seem logical that the two serial numbers that correspond to the standard sizes (9.7-inch). However, the Galaxy Tab S2 was initially presented in two sizes : 8 and 9.7-inch.
And these two versions will probably be back early next year. In fact, in the month of August last, a version 8 inch Galaxy Tab S3 has been found on Tenaa. The certification body argued that the slate, the definition of which corresponded to the standard QXGA (2048 x 1536, for a tile in format 4/3), was powered by a Snapdragon 652 and 3 Gb of RAM. These two items were accompanied by 32 Gb of internal storage, a battery of 4000 mAh, as well as two photo sensors 8-megapixel rear and 2 megapixel to the front.
Two leaks for two different versions
earlier, it is a tablet with the format 16/10th, which was unveiled by Evan Blass, aka Evleaks. The latter has published on Twitter a series of visuals for the press. And they represent more of a tablet with the format 16/10th that of a slate-format 4/3. Hence the hypothesis of two models, the same as last year. All of this remains, of course, based on rumours, and therefore partly speculative. So, take a few precautions vis-à-vis this information. As much as it seems to be amazing, despite the reliability of the sources of SamMobile, as the Korean firm let go the last quarter without a true premium product in the segment of tablets. Already this will also be the case on the phablets running, the end of the year will be hard for Samsung…
