Samsung board indeed a Exynos mobile processor 64-bit. The chip is approached to join the Galaxy S5.

When Apple unveiled the iPhone 5S and more accurately with the A7 SoC application processor 64-bit architecture, Samsung immediately informed that a 64-bit Exynos planned.

At its quarterly conference to discuss its financial results, Samsung has confirmed that the production of a 64-bit Exynos begin this quarter. That means he could be ready in time for the Galaxy S5. Recently, a persistent rumor reported a launch of Galaxy S5 in February 2014.

The “LITTLE” refers to the less powerful hearts and consume less energy and the “big” the most powerful hearts.

If the transition to 64-bit in the mobile phone seems to be a bet for the future, its immediate interest still debatable (just like a mobile CPU with eight cores).
