Galaxy S5 could be unveiled in January 2014 for commercial launch a month later if we are to believe the Naver site. The South Korean giant and would break the cycle of launching its flagship due to sales targets not met by the Galaxy S4.
Galaxy S3 was sold end of May 2012, while the S4 debuted in late April 2013. Eleven months have therefore separated the marketing of these two terminals. If we are to believe the rumor straight from South Korea, which are 10 months should separate the release dates of S4 and S5.
Although the Galaxy S4 had passed 10 million units just one month after its release, sales would not be in line with the objectives set by the chaebol (conglomerate in South Korea).
By doing so, Samsung could also bring to market new technologies embedded in the Galaxy S5. We think of course the integration of an ARM (Cortex-A50 architecture and instruction set ARMv8) 64-bit processor. It would be, not the first smartphone, but the first Android devices to offer this technology. Apple has led the way with 64 bits A7 SoC embedded processor in the iPhone 5S. Samsung has responded by stating that the Galaxy S5 is also 64 bits.
Other rumors are already state of a CMOS sensor of 16 million pixels and an optical stabilization system for the main camera. Like the iPhone 5S, the future flagship of the Galaxy range could have a system of fingerprint recognition.
