Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge: a bug related to 4G makes them unusable! – Phonandroid

While Samsung makes fun, nicely, iPhone users in its latest ad, maybe it should look a little more what happens in its smartphones. Indeed, users of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge undergo major network problems.

So when the smartphone is offline 4G, it just loses the network , which simply displays a bar. We must not believe that the network bar will be reached, or texting, since in reality it is as if the phone had no network, then returning all those trying to reach you mail.

This small problem affects Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge of all operators in France, which suggests a hardware problem. Do wrong to think that only the Hexagon is affected, since identical testimonies are also visible among different operators around the world.

Orange Customers have turned to the shops, or customer service were treated to a standard response, explaining that Samsung’s update should be enough to make the 4G network to Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Some then had hope when deploying Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but it was finally nothing, then leaving buyers with a 4G smartphone, which works only without 4G.

This is not the first time that 4G is found unavailable on a Samsung phone, since Galaxy Note 3 had the same treatment . Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet reported on the subject, and if that comes from the equipment, it is possible that a version devoid of the fault happens in the coming months, without this being clearly stated.

If you are ever affected by the problem, and you therefore have no network with 4G enabled, you can simply switch to 3G to be reachable again, which is, at present, better than nothing. Feel free to send us your observations in comments if you are affected by this issue
