Galaxy S6: sales of ultimately not so bad – Begeek.fr

So far, sales of Samsung Galaxy S6 wanted rather alarming. But the latest figures from analysis firm Counterpoint relayed by Reuters would rather reassuring since the Korean giant would have elapsed 6 million copies of its latest smartphone since its launch.

The Galaxy S6 sells well

According Counterpoint, Samsung would have reached the threshold of 6 million at the end of April, about 20 days after the start of marketing its phone. These data on smartphones sold directly to consumers and not on all phones shipped to various distributors in the market.

If this positive trend continues, Samsung can resume its position as world leader the smartphone market if the Korean company managed to solve its production problems.

The Galaxy S6 may exceed the iPhone 6

According to Peter Richardson, director of research for the firm Counterpoint, Combined sales of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Galaxy may well exceed the 50 million units sold by the end of 2015 and beat the record of 45 million held by the Galaxy S4 during the year of its release.

If for the month of April, the Galaxy S6 has already exceeded the Galaxy S5 over the same period, the last smartphone from Samsung still lags behind the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S. But if Samsung’s efforts and good sales figures are confirmed, it may be that the Korean company resumed the leadership in the global smartphone market Apple has come steal her end of 2014 thanks to the astronomical sales figures of the iPhone 6. Those who had buried too soon Samsung will perhaps bite the fingers.
