Western Conference leaders, the Seattle Sounders were beaten Wednesday night in Philadelphia (1-0). The winning goal was scored by Sapong in the 69th minute. At equal points with the Vancouver Whitecaps, Seattle now has only feed unit on the Galaxy (which has two more matches). The Los Angeles club held at home against the Portland Timbers (5-0).
In the East, the leader DC United won on the lawn of Chicago Fire, the red lantern (1-0) . He now has 10 points ahead of New England Revolution, dominated by the Columbus Crew (1-2) and 11 of Orlando, which beat the Colorado Rapids (2-0). Note that Kaka scored the second goal.
