The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, road version of the famous Galaxy S6 was unveiled earlier this month by the Korean giant. The first tests are quite good since the 3500 mAh battery provides a very interesting autonomy
The Galaxy S6 Active was formalized by Samsung on June 8. The phone is currently available in the United States and our colleagues from GSM Arena website were able to test the terminal. Their testing protocol is rather full on party autonomy as testing terminals at Voice calls, Internet browsing and video playback . The only downside is the brightness set to 50%, not a fixed value (such as 200 cd / m2) to facilitate comparison. Nevertheless, a great database has been built over the years, allowing to see that the Galaxy Active S6 is the most enduring smartphone if one takes into account the three tests with a score of endurance of 109h. This will mean recharge the smartphone every 109 hours if one carries out a 3G call hour, one video and one hour of surfing each day.
If we take each test separately, we realize that the Galaxy S6 Active ranks in 7th position in the 3G test call with more than 26 hours of battery life. During video playback, the Galaxy S6 died after 18 hours, allowing it to move to the second step of the podium. Finally, Internet browsing, it was not until more than 16 hours before the battery ad showing signs of fatigue, with a third place on the podium in the end.

For comparison, Galaxy S6 standard and battery 2500 mAh getting an endurance of 73h score almost 20 hours for 3G calls, 11h 12h Internet browsing and video playback.
