Galaxy S6 vs. M9 One, Nexus 6 and iPhone 6, assessment of performance – GinjFo

The segment of high-end smartphones was enriched Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9.

These solutions take advantage of the latest technology. HTC has opted for a 810 Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, while the Galaxy S6 offers Exynos 7420. There are several fundamental differences between the two chips. The Exynos 7420 enjoys a gravure 14 nm FinFET (20 nm to 810), 8 processing cores with 4 cores at 2.1 GHz ARM A57 and A53 four cores up to 1.5 GHz (four A57 cores 2 GHz and four cores up to 1.5 GHz A53 for 810) and a Mali-T760 graphics solution up to 772 MHz (650 MHz Adreno 430 up to 810). In both cases the RAM is LPDDR4 kind in dual channel mode at 1600 MHz.

Computebase offers a balance of performance with the GeekBench benchmark. These two new products are placed in competition, but also deal with other smartphones like the iPhone 6, the One M8 or the Nexus 5 and 6.

In the multi-core tests, no photo, the last bullet Samsung made wonders since it takes the first place against all rivals. The Exynos 7420 4547 point mark against 3959 points for the Snapdragon 810 and 3423 points for Tegra K. A8 chip Apple is here exceeded supplement. She landed in sixth place with only 2911 points.

Galaxy S6, performance

This disappointment, however, is being lived as in exercises simple heart, the ranking is different. Here Apple outperforms its two competitors with the A8. It records 1626 points against 1443 for the Exynos 7420 and 1186 for the Snapdragon 810. Curiously, the Tegra K1 Denver gets here first with 1976 points.

This is a rating on a only benchmark and the differences in current use should not be so great as that. We were talking about the Galaxy S6, the HTC One M9 or iPhone 6, all these smartphones offer high performance required capable of providing a fast and efficient use of the operating system.
