Almost two years after its release, the Samsung Galaxy S5 received its second major update. First launched in KitKat and updated as Lollipop, last year, the flagship 2015 Samsung receives Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and all the latest news from Google.
After Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and Edge + S6 and while the Galaxy Note 4 has not been updated for now the turn of the Samsung Galaxy S5 receiving Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The update has just started in South Korea and should extend to all markets in the coming weeks.
What’s new in this update day are substantial and include the Doze mode that puts unused applications in hibernation for better save battery , the individual management of permissions granted to applications or Google Now on Tap that can perform contextual searches based on the content displayed on the screen, without leaving the current application.
the update also corrects some bugs and enhance the stability of the phone, while improving its overall performance . There are also new icons included in the Marshmallow Android update to the Galaxy S6. The flagship 2014 Samsung and takes a facelift and it’s a good thing.
An update that users welcome the S5 probably pleased, however, those of Galaxy Note 4 are getting impatient and point to the lack of Samsung reactivity towards its PHABLET remains the flagship of the Korean company the most abused in terms of software support and has been since its output.
