VoLTE helps make phone calls from the 4G network, which increases the audio quality, shorten the linking time with the caller, switch to video conferencing during the call, but also navigate 4G during the phone call. Currently, when calling phones are switched to 3G and 4G repass at the end of the call.

The VoWiFi test at Orange

Currently, VoLTE is test at Orange, and in recent days, it seems that it is the turn of the VoWiFi to be tested by labExplorers , the customer beta testers of new products and features. The VoWiFi ( voice over Wi-Fi for voice over Wi-Fi) continues its classic phone calls not from a cellular network, but from a Wi-Fi network. Practice also to make calls from abroad without paying roaming charges if functionality walking outside France.
