Friendly – FC Barcelona – Los Angeles Galaxy: 2-1 – The Team – The Équipe.fr

For his first game of the season, Barça has not really forced to take over the Los Angeles Galaxy (2-1) on Tuesday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The Catalan club even took his time before opening the score by Luis Suarez, just before the break (45th). In the absence of Lionel Messi and Neymar, even on vacation, the Uruguayan star has enjoyed a good service spectacular Marc Bartra in the surface for marking closely, in his typical style. Sergi Roberto (56th) then doubled the lead before Tommy Meyer halved the deficit in injury time (90 + 1).

Luis Enrique took this gentle recovery to largely turn its workforce. The French Jérémy Mathieu was such holder in central defense, before exiting at halftime. Also present, Steven Gerrard would not have missed it for the world this prestigious game. After a frank hug with his former teammate at Liverpool, Luis Suarez, just before kickoff, the Englishman has not however weighed heavily on a match, which will remain mostly remembered for a record: the number of spectators present (93 226) in a stadium in the United States to attend a meeting with an MLS team.
