Pictured above, the only real (but discreet) difference is the color processing. The Galaxy S6 is more faithful to the colors of the buildings, where the Xperia Z3 Compact tends to apply a “veil” blue in the image. This is mainly due to the white balance, which is not managed in the same way for both smartphones. The photo of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is more “cool” than the Samsung Galaxy S6. In low light
From experience, it has been observed that most smartphones are often départagent low light. This is usually due to the amount of light captured. In this case, it is not only light but the dive. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Sony Xperia Z3 Compact indeed produce brilliant shots night, and we see maximum information. The difference therefore lies at the dive, when even more important at Samsung. The details are better defined than the Z3 Compact, which tends to look a little too light. Result on the picture above: the green of the trees is less defined and speckled with it. The Samsung Galaxy S6 better than Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
Like his older Sony Xperia Z3 The Z3 Compact softness on his reports. This does not prevent him to remain an excellent camera phone and a reference in the matter, but just behind the Samsung Galaxy S6. The latter passes its competitor thanks to dive and accurate color reproduction, but also with optical image stabilization. This last point is important in low light, since it effectively cancels any motion blur as we have seen. The Japanese manufacturer is therefore underperformed its South Korean competitor, but we wait to see the improvements made by the new Z3 + on that land. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S6 remains among the best camera phones of the moment.
