Samsung announced a new smartphone that complements its Galaxy range. This is so far the thinnest terminal designed by the Korean manufacturer.
While rumors are rife about an upcoming Galaxy Note 5 would be unveiled soon, the company Samsung has just announce a new smartphone to its line Galaxy A, which offers midrange terminals and particularly fine feature an aluminum chassis.
With the Galaxy A8, Samsung continues this tradition and has a Android smartphone 5.9 mm against 6.3 mm for the previous model of the family. The device is thinner than the iPhone 6 (6.9 mm) or the Galaxy S6 (7.1 mm).
Side features, the Galaxy A8 has a full HD slab 5.7 inches. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC 615, a chip with four octacore Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5 GHz and four others at 1 GHz. The chip is supported by 2GB of RAM.
The Galaxy A8 also has a primary camera of 16 megapixels, a 3050 mAh battery and a fingerprint reader .
For now, the manufacturer will market the device in China and Singapore. The previous models in the range can now be purchased on Amazon France, one would imagine that it will be listed thereafter.
