Samsung has unveiled a new version of Galaxy Folder, a clamshell smartphone. Two years after the release of the first model, the Galaxy Folder has a completely revised technical specifications and latest version of Android.
Having fallen into disuse for a long time in our country, slider phones still have a success in Asia. After that LG yesterday presented its own clamshell phone, the LG Gentle, today is formalizing its competitor Samsung Galaxy Folder edition 2015. Samsung is not at his first attempt, the brand had already presented the first edition of his phone form factor vintage in 2013.
For its new model, the manufacturer has completely changed the design of mobile. Exit the two screens that allowed merely accessing contacts or messages without having to open the phone. Samsung has decided to propose a more traditional design. However, the mobile always provides a touch screen and traditional navigation keys for easy navigation.
The version 2015 offers Folder Galaxy 3.8-inch screen, a back camera with 8 megapixels an open f / 2.2 and a 2 megapixel front camera. It integrates a memory chip 8 GB expandable through micro SD port. The 1800 mAh battery should provide an interesting for its autonomy given the small size of the screen. At the level of the mobile connectivity will be compatible 4G. Everything will be powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop. Samsung has given no other information about mobile. We will not know neither the definition of the screen, or what processor it loads.
The Samsung Galaxy Folder should be available from next month in South Korea for $ 250. It will be available in two colors: blue black and white and in two versions: 3G and LTE. This type of mobile is very specific to the Asian market, there is little chance that one day crosses the borders of Europe or the United States.
