Every day a rumor in the world of smartphones. After the first images of what could be the future iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Apple began to circulate on the net, it’s Samsung’s turn to fuel speculation about his future aircraft, which should be presented before the end of the year, perhaps as early as July. And this time it is not stolen photos or mere rumors, but the filing of a mark by the Korean manufacturer.
According to a document published by the serious US Office of Patents and Trademarks (UPSTO), Samsung has indeed filed for US brand “Edge S6 +” , which seems to confirm several recent rumors on the upcoming introduction of a model with a curved screen larger than its latest smartphone. The request was made on 26 June and granted on June 30
A model smaller than the Galaxy Note
According to several specialized sources, the upcoming Samsung model could be equipped with a Super AMOLED screen dual Quad HD Edge of a size between 5.4 and 5.7 inches, a Snapdragon processor 808, with a capacity 32GB of storage, a camera of 16 megapixels with image stabilizer and a front camera of 5 megapixels.
The device would look like as two peas Galaxy S6 Edge would measure 151 mm high and 73 mm wide and is therefore smaller than the Galaxy Note 4. It thus fall within the category of “phablettes”. Released in 2014, the Galaxy Note Edge was the first unit of the South Korean brand to offer a curved screen. Or rather two sets seals screens.
