The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 soon banned US flights? – Frandroid

FAA, Constable of civil aviation in the United States, considering the possibility of banning the presence of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in the US flights. Involved, the risk of ignition of the battery of the smartphone, which could cause a fairly serious aviation accident.

 Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fire

with its Galaxy Note 7, Samsung uses two types of batteries, one produced by ATL and another produced by Samsung SDI subsidiary. The latter is defective since Samsung has already recorded 35 Galaxy Note 7 which ignited when they were in charge. Samsung has also launched its recall program in France and owners of a Galaxy Note 7 should contact the Korean manufacturer quickly. This situation, which has already caused considerable damage, frightened FAA, the equivalent of the DGCA (Directorate General for Civil Aviation) in the United States .

the agency has informed our colleagues of the site Gizmodo she thought to banish altogether the presence of the Galaxy Note 7 in the US flights. This would more accurately prohibit the presence of 7 Galaxy Note equipped with a defective battery , and therefore also of defective spare batteries in the cabin or hold baggage. The FAA has not yet made his decision and it is currently only a reflection on the part of the body.

US airlines were also contacted by our colleagues and have no plans at the moment to make the decision to ban Galaxy Note 7 of their flights. Such a decision would anyway be very complicated to implement, since it would check one by one the passengers of smartphones and ensure – surely through the serial number – that it does not include a faulty battery. It should be noted also that fires and explosions seem to only occur when charging the phone .

If the FAA decides to ban Galaxy Note 7 defective in aircraft US, Samsung’s image may still suffer a bit more, especially as the recall of defective units have already cost one billion dollars.
