Little bit of brake for the Los Angeles Galaxy – francetv sport

The former international irish Robbie Keane had opened the scoring for the Galaxy from the 20th min with his ninth goal of the season. But Seattle equalized on a goal against his camp of Jelle Van Damme (35), and then took much the top in the second period thanks to a double by Jordan Morris (63, 74). Osvaldo Alonso added a fourth goal for Seattle (78), before Keane saves the honor on penalty kicks late in the game (85).

The Galaxy, who conceded their first defeat at home this season, remains party to contest the play-offs. The franchise in california, who made out Landon Donovan to retire at 34 years old, is 3rd in the Western conference with 48 points, ten more than the 7th and the first non-qualified, for the moment, Seattle. Four teams are already qualified for the play-offs that start on October 26: Dallas, leader of the Western conference, and next opponent of Los Angeles, the New York Red Bulls, leaders of the conference, Toronto and New York City.
