Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in China : sorry… but everything goes well, ZDNet France

The explosion of Galaxy Note 7 would be at the origin of psychosis in China ? Incidents have been reported in the pas, five in total. Samsung Electronics has responded to an apology.

The Korean manufacturer has launched a recall program in many countries, but not in China. And if Samsung apologizes “sincerely”, it is first for the fears experienced by the chinese consumers as a result of these incidents abroad.

The smartphone maker seeks, however, not to be forgiven for outbursts of this kind in China. Samsung the supports, the terminals sold on the market are not in question and the reported incidents have been caused by an external heat source. To be clear, the battery of the Galaxy Note 7 has not overheated and resulted in an explosion.

On the home page of the chinese version of its site, Samsung assumes, therefore, for the concerns of consumers and for not having correctly and efficiently explain that the Note 7 sold in the country were safe.

The marketing of the new smartphones has been launched on the 1st September in China. However, the models delivered in the countries were the batteries of a subcontractor different from those affected by the recall. China is not concerned by these programs.

However, where it may be misunderstanding, Samsung has recalled the Note 7 in China, 1.858 units in total. The manufacturer explained that there were pre-orders and promotions.
