The Galaxy S7, “flagship” Samsung would have a new processor. It is a document from the firm Qualcomm itself that the tests would confirm its Snapdragon 820 with the next smartphone from the Korean company.

 
 
 
 

The next Galaxy S7 could have a new system on chip. A document from the Qualcomm company and relayed by a Korean site, indicate that the tests would be underway to include a Qualcomm processor in the Galaxy S series.

Two versions of the Galaxy S7

As the Galaxy and Galaxy Edge S6 S6, S7 Galaxy could have an Exynos SoC Samsung 7420. If researchers succeed optimization Snapdragon 820, it would be two different versions of smartphone that might appear.

The chip would have a built-in anti-malware system, Snapdragon Malware Protect. It would also have a graphics chip Adreno 530, estimated 40% more efficient than the Adreno 430 and less energy. Finally a new DSP chip would be installed. It would enable better treatment of sound and video and Internet signals.
