[SHIFT] + Edge Samsung Galaxy S6: you pay € 300 more that … – Phonandroid

[SHIFT] : Many readers have reported usually of similar prices to those of France in North Africa. Error on the Samsung website (Samsung pages dedicated to North Africa are at best poorly maintained …) or sudden drop in price?

The drafting has just received an e mail for the least interesting. A reader pointed us a price difference more than consistent between Galaxy S6 Edge + sold in North Africa and those sold in France. While the 32GB model is available with us for € 799 , North Africa can get it for only € 499 .

Know that ‘just cross the Mediterranean to pay the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + € 300 cheaper, this can leave thoughtfully. Frankly, when we learn that the phone is available for pre-order in the hexagon to € 799 while in the Maghreb are sold only € 499, anger is not far to go.

Of course, this price difference can be explained by different factors. First, the cost of living is much higher in our country in North Africa. All products are more expensive in our country, simply because our economy is doing better and that our buying power is more important . By necessity, the tax are also higher here, and are adding a few euros at a price already substantial.

But let’s face it, the difference of € 300 is so huge that it forces us to push the thought a little further. Especially at the price margin made by Samsung. If the brand can afford to sell its phones € 300 cheaper elsewhere, you can only imagine the benefits generated at the slightest phone sales in the West. Of course, labor is also more expensive home. But at the time of outsourcing mass, this should play a minimal role in the price of products.
