IFA 2015: Samsung outlines its Galaxy View … – Phonandroid

Samsung held a conference in Berlin on the occasion of the IFA 2015. Less with great fanfare that at their keynote from London to New York to reveal the Galaxy Note and Galaxy 5 S6 + Edge, the show was right even meeting with the official presentation of the smartwatch Gear S2 but also a mysterious tablet Galaxy View .

This conference held in Germany was supposed carry the attention to the S2 Gear , a smartwatch the very successful design and new features that will not only compatible with Samsung devices but with all Android devices (since version 4.4). But then, the Korean manufacturer has ensured the show once again taking its audience by surprise.

At the end of conference, the manufacturer gave a brief overview of a mysterious new device called Galaxy view while projecting images of the beast lurking in the shadows. At first glance, this would be a tablet, perhaps large format.

On the cliches, this Galaxy View is shown resting on a base indicating that it would be primarily designed for watching movies and TV shows … but we think of it, remember, information around a 18.4-inch tablet had been identified. Also called “Tahoe” just a few days, it may be our mysterious new product scheduled for an official presentation in October.

If it is good of the Tahoe, then we might expect a TFT LCD Full HD tablet fuel under Exynos 7580 coupled with 2 GB RAM . It would offer 32GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 128GB. Cameras 8 megapixels and 2.1 megapixels are also offered in the front and rear facades. Everything should be supported by a battery of 5700 mAh.

All this is only supposition, it is also good to note that Samsung is also working with Microsoft on a draft 12-inch tablet running Windows 10, offering a Super AMOLED screen, an S-Pen stylus and 4GB of RAM. An equally plausible information because Microsoft has to organize a big event in the month of October … so, on what tablet would you tend to bet?
