Samsung is currently trying to work on new phones positioned on the high end, and more specifically on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge . At last, they are even supposed to hit the market in February and they could well be the first phones to use the Snapdragon 820 … Or not, actually.
I think you already know but S7 and S7 Edge should be divided into two models. The first should be powered by an Exynos M1, against a Snapdragon 820 for the second.
The thing is that the new high-end chip market is not yet available on the market and it is precisely for this reason that many people thought that these phones would be the first to benefit.
But this will clearly not the case, at least not according to the International Business Times.
According to sources the site, Xiaomi would actually working on a new phone set also on the high end.
It would be the Mi 5 and it should not do things by half since embark a full HD 5.2 inch Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM LPPDR4, 16GB or 32GB of storage, a sensor of 16 megapixels, a front camera 8 million pixels and a USB Type-C prime port.
Not bad , no ? Certainly, but the best is yet to come as the terminal could hit the market … before the end of the year. If this should be the case, then it would be the first to be entitled to the new chip refiner and thus allow Xiaomi to damn the pawn to Samsung, of course, but also to Sony or even LG.
Speaking of, know that the Galaxy S7 should be entitled to a metal frame and extremely meticulous finishing. It also embark a 5.2 inch display capable of displaying a QHD type definition (2560 x 1440) with a Snapdragon 820 or Exynos M1, 4 GB of RAM, 32/64/128 GB of storage and ISOCELL a big sensor of 20 million pixels bonus.
Whatever, it is not sure yet. In reality, the manufacturer is also currently testing a prototype with a similar system Dual Camera HTC.
All these information are obviously taken with extreme caution.
