S7 Galaxy: Samsung would consider re microSD slot – Phonandroid

Although its release is not expected before several months, the Galaxy S7 is already at the heart of attention. Rumors are running through the Chinese and Korean media and the latest would like Samsung reinstates a micro SD slot in its next flagship. A rumor that will please more than one user if it were to be confirmed.

While his output is not expected until next year, the Galaxy S7 continues to be talked about . After proposing a high-end line up without SD slot this year, Samsung again consider offering the user the possibility to expand the memory on its flagship stores. In addition, there would be no 128 GB version but only two models of 32 and 64 GB .

It would not have a first since the year Last, LG and HTC have returned to their SD slots flagships after proposing an LG G2 and HTC One M7 without SD slot the previous year.

Also according to the same report, the design resume the same guidelines. We always would find a unibody with a non-removable battery . It may be boring to some but after all, HTC and Sony offer many unibody smartphones without removable battery and no one takes offense.

In addition, the Galaxy A8 features a unibody design much closer to that Galaxy S6 but with an SD slot so why not the Galaxy S7. Of course, we must consider the fact that the design of Galaxy S6 is not the only reason for the lack of a slot for expanding the memory. UFS 2.0 modules being much faster than any SD card is visibly not affect the performance of its new modules that Samsung did not wish to integrate.
